An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Operations team at Lancashire Renewables Ltd. working at our Thornton facility.

The Mobile Plant Team Leader (Operations) will be responsible for the management and safe operation of the waste facility with particular focus on mobile plant duties, operational leadership and people first line management.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in team leadership, including people management and development.
  • Knowledge of mobile plant operations.
  • Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments and Work Instructions.
  • Work experience in a waste processing, manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
  • Proficiency using PC and IT systems.

While we offer and encourage training and development opportunities, the following would be highly beneficial:

  • National Plant Operators Registration Scheme or equivalent for Loading Shovel (FEL), Teletruck, Mobile Grapple, Forklift Truck (FLT), Roll On Roll Off (RoRo).
