Contract Project Health and Safety Advisor

Project Health and Safety Advisor required on a contract basis to operate as a Client Side Safety Representative. We are seeking a Health and Safety Consultant to serve as a Client Side Safety Representative for an upcoming c10 week construction project in Gloucester The role has been assessed as Outside IR35. Immediate start required, realistically within 7 days. The contract can be run through your own Ltd Company or an Umbrella Service. Responsibilities: – Act as the point of contact for all health and safety matters on behalf of the client. – Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. – Ensure the implementation of safety procedures tailored to the specific needs of the project. – Provide ongoing safety training and awareness programs for personnel involved in the project. – Provide recommendations for preventive measures. – Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders as necessary. – Check RAMS of contractors on site Requirements: – Proven experience as a Health and Safety Consultant on construction projects. – In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. – Strong communication and interpersonal skills. – Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities. – Relevant certifications or qualifications in health and safety i.e. NEBOSH, CertIOSH status
