Mobile Plant Operator required to start on a temp to perm contract. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm. Hourly rate starts at £14.62 rising to £16.04 per hour; £29,192.80 per annum.
Please be aware that you will not be able to drive machinery until full training has been completed, and during this time the candidate will be expected to keep the area clean, clear and safe. Training will likely last between 2-4 weeks, and will be during the day, likely starting at 9am.
Duties:
- Loading Artic trailers with various waste streams
- Sorting waste with JCB grab (mechanical digger)
- Running baler
- Loading bale lorries with JCB Teletruck
- Cleaning of working areas
- Maintenance and cleaning of mobile plant
- Focus on meeting and exceeding recycling targets
- Contributing to the reporting of safety concerns
