Central Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Progression Coach, to work in the Sutton area. The service provides support to at risk young people to prevent homelessness and help them move towards independence. The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, working across Monday - Sunday on a rota covering early (8AM - 4PM), mid (9AM - 5PM) and late (12PM - 8PM) shifts. There is a requirement to work 2 weekends out of every 4. Temporary cover is required for approximately 3 months. The pay rate for this role is £14.17 per hour, with £1.71 holiday pay, totalling £15.88 per hour.

Please note; this role involves visiting young people across the borough and working from the office in Sutton. In this position, you will be expected to:

  • Hold a caseload of 7 key clients and conduct regular key working sessions resulting in agreed Support Plans which are reviewed regularly
  • Complete comprehensive risk and needs assessments
  • Interview and assess the suitability of referrals to the criteria and objectives of the project and provide written feedback to unsuccessful applicants
  • Ensure that residents ready to move on have an appropriate network of support and resources to aid their transition to independent living
  • Build supportive relationships with the young people while maintaining professional boundaries
  • Support clients to participate in Education, Training, Employment
