As the EMEA Event Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for planning, developing and launching the tactical elements for multiple events, simultaneously, in order to drive brand awareness, lead generation and meet business goals.
Client Details: My client operates in the biotechnology and life sciences sector, providing tools, reagents, diagnostics, and instruments that support scientific research and clinical diagnostics.
Description: As the EMEA Event Marketing Specialist you will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop promotional content for all event marketing tactics.
- Work with colleagues to elevate and extend the onboarding experience, contributing to the delivery of an exceptional customer experience.
- Lead decision making, planning and execution of all event marketing tactics; create, track, manage, and report work through dedicated marketing work management platforms.
- Responsible for tracking and reporting all event metrics to inform and improve future event marketing activities.
- Responsible for 3rd party relationship management, including conference organisations, and the execution of 3rd party tactics.
Profile: The successful EMEA Event Marketing Specialist will have the following:
- Demonstrable experience within a similar role; ideally gained from working in the life sciences sector.
- Excellent presentation skills, experience preparing and delivering talks, and communicating effectively to diverse audiences.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders who are globally dispersed and build good working relationships.
- Ability to multi-task, managing a high volume of tactics from concept to execution to optimization.
- Adaptable to change and able to pivot to accommodate changes in the market and business landscape.
- Strong ability to deploy strategic multi-channel marketing with an appeal to customers in a scientific field.
Job Offer: The successful candidate will receive a competitive package, DOE and will be based in Abingdon twice a week, with x3 days working from home.
