Paint Lead Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support PDL responses by identifying costs required for vehicle launches.
- Assist in transitioning the paint facility from one site to another.
- Coach and develop team members to meet objectives and targets aligned with scorecard metrics.
- Lead planning and implementation for all commissioning related to MY and LE colours.
- Support resource planning for the paint department.
- Represent the Paint department at programme meetings at all levels and present findings when applicable.
- Manage the design, procurement, and installation of tooling, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing, including supplier selection and vendor management.
- Handle technical issues related to Paint and escalate as needed.
- Support capacity planning within the Paint department.
- Ensure adherence to Health & Safety protocols, including CDM control and implementation.
- Demonstrate proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Show strong leadership skills in a fast-paced setting.
- Act as a role model and promote an inclusive working environment.
- Be accountable for your work area and related activities.
