Benefits Manager

We're now looking for a Benefits Manager to join our Reward team and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our benefits strategy globally, with a particular focus on the UK & APAC market. Reporting to the VP of Global Benefits, this role will be instrumental in developing the tools, principles, and frameworks that support Pearson's total reward strategy. You'll work closely with our HR Operations, Technology, and cross-functional teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality employee experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the design and delivery of global benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, pension, and well-being initiatives
  • Leading or contributing to large-scale benefits projects, including vendor evaluations, RFPs, and regulatory updates
  • Partnering across HR, Legal, Finance, and external vendors to deliver cost-effective, compliant, and inclusive benefits
  • Playing a key role in the Reward Centre of Expertise (COE) and supporting the rollout of our global wellbeing strategy
  • Ensuring that benefit strategies are well communicated, understood, and supported by the wider Reward team
  • Managing the benefits implications of acquisitions, divestitures, and legislative changes

About You:

You're a proactive, solutions-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment. You're passionate about benefits, wellbeing, and building programs that support a diverse, global workforce. We're looking for someone with:

  • Significant experience in UK benefits design and compliance, including pensions, health, and wellness programs
  • Strong knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks
  • A track record of leading or supporting strategic benefits projects
  • Experience working in a large or global organisation
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A flexible, adaptable mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Global exposure or multilingual skills, though this is not required.
