SD Fire Solutions Ltd are looking for a fire alarm engineer to join our team for weekly testing. We can offer training to enhance this, so you must be open to learning new skills and operating the many different types of systems. We will also train you to operate and test other safety systems such as AOV systems, emergency lights, and disabled refuge.

The fire alarm industry has many regulations we must follow that stipulate how fire alarm systems must be installed and maintained. You will need a full UK driving license as a work vehicle will be provided. You will require to obtain a DBS.

Responsibilities after training:
  • Weekly testing of Fire Alarm panels, Aico Devices, AOV systems
  • Replacing fire alarm related equipment such as devices, batteries
  • Monthly testing of emergency lights
  • Maintain good customer communications
  • Health and safety
  • Vehicle care and maintenance
Person Specification:
  • Possess a full UK driving license
  • Ambitious & positive attitude
  • Willing to learn and progress
  • Willing to use public transport if required
  • Hours - 40 hours a week with additional overtime available during the week and at weekends

The majority of our work would be located in and around London, south London and surrounding areas and you must be prepared to drive/travel and start your day at 8am.
