Consortium are partnering exclusively with a global manufacturer who are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their expanding team. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are quite the same.
What you will do:
- Preparing various metals and placing into specialised holders for processing
- Assembling small mechanical components ahead of processing
- Programming and monitoring automated washing equipment
- Organising and rotating stock, with a focus on basic stock control
- Carrying out in-process and pre-inspection checks
- Contributing ideas and efforts toward process improvements
What is on offer:
- Salary of £24,500 - £26,000 DOE
