Experienced Sign Assembler Required for a Northampton Based Company. Permanent opportunity available after a successful qualifying period. Monday to Friday working, £14 - £16 per hour DOE.

We are looking for an experienced Sign Assembler to join our client, an established family business with over 40 years of experience within the sign making industry. Reporting to the Works Manager / Assistant Works Manager, you will be part of the manufacturing team making signs for their clients, which range from small independent businesses to large corporate organisations.

As a Sign Assembler, you will be working as part of the assembly team on the final stages of assembling the manufactured signs. The duties of the Sign Assembler will include:

  • Material Handling
  • Working with hand tools
  • Building and assembling manufactured signs
  • Building sign components including faces and channel letters
  • Quality checks
  • Reading from drawings and diagrams

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have previous experience in the sign making industry and possess the following skills and attributes:

  • The ability to work in a team
  • Experience of working from diagrams and drawings
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Basic electrical knowledge
