Do you have a passion for high-end interior design in the most lucrative parts of London? Are you an experienced Interior Designer? We are exclusively mandated to find a midweight Interior Designer to focus on FF&E, bringing strong product and supplier knowledge to the interior design fit-out team. You will need to demonstrate the quality of strategic design thinking across the projects you work on, and deliver these in a unique and inspiring way for their national and international projects.
With at least 3 years' experience, you will ideally have a creative portfolio demonstrating your personal style, the design development, and wider skills sets you can offer.
You must have:
- Client-facing experience working on high-end residential interior design projects for both private clients and developers
- At least 3 years design industry experience with relevant design-based upper education
- Competent in using Photoshop, MS Office suite, AutoCAD, and Estimac
- Very strong eye for detail with the ability to produce and present your work in a professional manner, both digitally and physically
- Experience with budgeting, managing clients, procurement, and installing schemes
- Experience in putting together finishing and design schedules for interior fit-out and joinery
- Experience and confidence in managing fit-out teams, design execution, and contractors
- A general enthusiasm for design that is reflected in your work and understanding of the industry, supplier, and general product knowledge
- Confident team player with a positive disposition
You will be:
- Designing interior schemes, joinery, and bespoke FF&E schemes using CAD, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Presenting physical and digital work to clients and the wider team
- Managing your own projects, pitching to, and managing clients, overseeing and managing fit-out teams, executing your work to a high standard
- Producing specification schedules for lighting, sanitaryware, finishes, etc.
- Expected to be a good team player and help during high-flow workload periods.
