Role Summary
EQ is seeking an Implementation Analyst to join our team responsible for onboarding Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) Schemes. Significant experience in the pensions industry and a strong technical pensions background are required; knowledge of Bulk Purchase Annuities would be advantageous. This role involves core configuration of the system, working closely with ongoing development, reviewing enhancement requests, and producing prototypes for new functionalities.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients (internal and external) to understand their BPA requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Improve BPA implementation practices and update documentation.
- Work with product development teams to refine and test the system.
- Maintain knowledge of the BPA lifecycle and DB pensions.
This role requires specific skills related to calculations, including:
- Maintaining calculation spreadsheets and factor feeds.
- Identifying calculation requirements.
- Ensuring the Calculation Engine functions correctly.
- Creating scenario matrices for testing and performing scenario testing.
- Supporting manual calculations and monthly bulk calculations.
- Supporting pension increases setup and technical support.
Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
- Analysis of implementation projects and client requirements.
- Effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Estimating, planning, and managing deliverables.
- Producing documentation such as scope documents, specifications, and user guides.
- Supporting testing and rollout processes.
- Interpreting legislative changes with support from the Regulatory & Pensions Support team.
- Experience with Pension Configuration Tools and SQL.
- Significant pensions industry experience, especially in Bulk Purchase Annuities, is highly desirable.
