The predicted salary is between 24000 - 28000 £ per year.

Salary commensurate with experience up to £30,000 - £34,000 as a guide, excellent benefits, fantastic training, and career development opportunities. 39-hour week, Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 and Friday 08:00 - 15:30 with 30 mins for lunch. Excellent opportunity to work in an incredibly interesting automotive research and development engineering environment.

This Workshop Technician job will involve:

  • Preparing and certifying specialist test equipment used within automotive research and development test facilities.
  • Installation of test instrumentation to vehicles and removal following the completion of tests.
  • Calibration of test instruments used for vehicle safety testing.
  • Work with accuracy and precision in a safety-first environment.

This Workshop Technician job will suit:

  • A Workshop Technician or Engineering Technician or Service Technician or Vehicle Technician with mechanical fitting skills; further training and development can be provided.
  • You will need to be qualified to a BTEC / NVQ or equivalent Level 3 standard in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or electrical/electronic engineering or a similar field.
  • Have care and pride in your work; you will be working with high value test equipment and vehicles.
