Role: Senior Advisory Services Consultant
The Senior Advisory Services Consultant plays a crucial role across departments with diverse responsibilities. They are vital in developing new and existing customer accounts by collaborating closely with the account management team to provide strategic insights and align Orange Cyberdefense UK’s products and services with customer needs in a dynamic sales environment.
The Advisory Services team cultivates and maintains key customer relationships, guiding, supporting, and influencing their security strategies to understand their goals, challenges, and roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships, acting as a trusted security advisor to security leadership.
- Develop and implement the advisory services strategy for Orange Cyberdefense UK, aligning with company objectives and customer needs.
- Collaborate with other departments, especially Sales, to develop customer accounts, representing Orange Cyberdefense UK as an ambassador and trusted advisor.
- Design, deliver, and manage security advisory services, assessments, reviews, and strategic consulting.
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with customer security, technical, and leadership teams, including representing the company at executive levels when appropriate.
- Research and communicate customer requirements to enable solution architects to design complex solutions.
Candidate Expectations:
- Extensive proven experience in information security consulting, advisory, and security management roles, with a track record of skill development and success.
- Strong knowledge of security vendors and the marketplace, with relevant certifications and contacts.
- Hands-on experience in large security consulting projects, with a solid understanding of IT security and technology concepts.
- Deep expertise in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), including auditing, assessments, and implementation of standards such as ISO 27000, NIST, NCSC, Cyber Essentials, CIS20, C2M2, PCI DSS, NIS2, and GDPR.
- Strong understanding of security controls, processes, and objectives, aligned with industry best practices.
- Professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 LA/LI, PCI DSS QSA are preferred.
