Our client is a highly regarded firm seeking a Senior Review Actuary to join a specialist first-line 'Assurance' team. The Senior Review Actuary will primarily focus on ensuring the quality and robustness of actuarial reporting, methodologies, and assumptions, reviewing and challenging across various areas (e.g., new business pricing, business planning, ORSA, and model changes). This individual will collaborate with the Head of Actuarial Assurance, who reports directly to the CFO, Chief Capital Officer, Heads of Finance, and the Chief Actuary. This is an engaging and dynamic role with significant potential for growth.

Requirements:

  • Qualified actuary (3+ years PQE) with 5+ years of experience in the UK life insurance market from a consulting, capital or reporting background.
  • Preferably experienced in annuities or reporting in Solvency II, and/or IFRS17.
  • Proven background in review/checking roles, demonstrating technical skepticism and logical thinking.
  • Strong communicator, comfortable sharing opinions with peers.
