The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are hiring experienced Full Stack Developers for a 6-month contract role based in Melbourne. This position will be a hybrid role (mostly WFH but available to be onsite when required) and focuses on building out product features that elevate the customer experience. This will be a daily rate contract and it is likely to extend.
About the Role
As part of our client's growth strategy, they are scaling up their engineering team. You will be responsible for:
- Actively participating in design discussions with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver functional and user-friendly features.
- Iterating on feedback to continuously improve usability and performance.
- Reducing bugs in production and enhancing code quality.
- Improving turnaround time on code reviews.
You will be working across a modern, cloud-based stack that includes:
- React (Web – not React Native) for the front end
- Node.js with Express for the back end
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for cloud infrastructure
- Firebase for authentication, database, and hosting services
What You’ll Bring
