THIS IS A ZERO HOURS ROLE The Role: Cleaning and polishing both the inside and outside of hire vehicles to an exceptional standard, and rearranging cars on the company premises when necessary. Main Duties: Clean windows, wheels, door handles and mirrors Vacuum and shampoo upholstery and carpets Wax and polish bodywork Apply other finishes to bumpers & trims Inspecting the vehicle for damage and reporting any issues Showing the customer around the vehicle and ensuring they know how to operate it and ensuring all the paperwork is completed correctly and signed Driving/shunting company vehicles around the yard in accordance with the requirements of the Department of Transport and highway code/company policies The Person: If you wish to apply for this role, you must: Hold a driving licence and meet the criteria for our insurance Previous experience as a Valeter (or similar) in the car rental sector and a passion for cars would be desirable Be reliable, flexible and able to demonstrate high standards when working to targets / KPIs / customer expectations Have demonstrable communication skills Be able to work under pressure and handle complaints Fluency in more than one language (in additional to excellent English) would be advantageous as we regularly attend to customers from across the globe Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: From £11.44 per hour Additional pay: Commission pay Benefits: On-site parking Schedule: Day shift Holidays Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability Work Location: In person JBRP1_UKTJ
