Data Migration Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Data Migration

• Analyze source system data.
• Map source data to target systems.
• Draft technical specifications for ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers on pipeline development.
• Design and implement validation rules.
• Liaise with data quality forums to address issues.

Data Governance

• Support implementation of governance frameworks.
• Help define and enforce data rules.
• Promote accountability and security in data handling.

General Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BAs and stakeholders to define data needs and use cases.
• Translate business processes into technical data requirements.
• Provide risk mitigation insights.
• Adhere to company policies (e.g., data protection, health & safety).

Required Knowledge & Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years in data analysis, preferably in large or multinational organizations.
• Experience in large-scale IT transformations.
• Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce).
• Proven experience in data governance and quality frameworks.
• Experience working in or with the energy sector is an advantage.
