The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Due to the creation of a new Service Centre, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Service Coordinator to join an international manufacturer based near Newark. The role will involve coordinating valve overhaul projects from smaller projects to full turnarounds through the service centre. The successful candidate will be both technically and commercially focused with the ability to understand technical requirements of the end user client and advise the best course of action. You may be required to attend sites to review scopes of work, so a willingness to travel as required is a must. Candidates will have a demonstrable background working within a similar role with experience working with valve, actuator or rotating equipment.
Role Description:
- Planning and coordination of valve overhaul projects both onsite and workshop based
- Responsible for accurate creation of service estimations/proposals
- Ensure quotations are commercially viable and technically accurate
- Resolve any customer issues
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong commercial and technical understanding of service activities surrounding valve or rotating equipment service
- Demonstrable background within a rotating equipment service environment
- Qualified in either mechanical or electrical engineering (advantageous)
- Ability to work to multiple deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
