Experienced Mechanical Manager required to be based on a stunning project. A successful building main contractor based in London, specializing in luxury residential markets, new build and refurbishment schemes, large hotels, and commercial developments.
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Manager to join a successful and rapidly expanding main contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a £40m internal fit out of 2 opulent resident projects in the heart of Mayfair. The Mechanical Manager's role involves managing and administering specialist subcontractors, supervising, coordinating, and planning the works on site, reviewing contractor design elements, and ensuring that the project deliverables are achieved with regard to safety, quality, programme, and cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Mechanical Manager will oversee and administer subcontractors: Supervise and coordinate the works on site, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Project Coordination: Review contractor design elements and ensure project deliverables are met in terms of safety, quality, programme, and cost.
- AC and Ventilation Systems: Specifically responsible for the installation, commissioning, and handover of AC and ventilation systems.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and policies.
- The Mechanical Manager will be involved in client liaison: Manage meetings and communications with the client and their representatives.
- Direct Labour Management: Oversee direct labour, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
