Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of finance? As a Credit Portfolio Group – Product Controller – Associate, within our product control function, you will provide crucial support to the financial controllers and trading desk. You will ensure the accuracy of P&L, balance sheet, and month-end close procedures. In this role, you will lead product control deliverables and have the opportunity to interact regularly with senior management on balance sheet queries and P&L promoters.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with daily P&L reporting and month-end close processes
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting on financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
- Partner with the business to drive and implement robust controls and new business initiatives
- Coordinate across front & back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues accurately and promptly
- Support product control through analysis and project involvement
- Handle various ad-hoc requests daily
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities
- Experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related fields
- Experience with P&L and month-end close processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related area
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a focus on controls
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Understanding of financial products is advantageous
- Experience with balance sheet or regulatory reporting is highly desirable
