The Finance Manager will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager (Reporting) and will drive SmartestEnergy Limited’s monthly management reporting for SEL UK and European entities, quarterly group reporting to our parent company, Marubeni Corporation, and annual statutory reporting and external audit. They will be accountable for oversight of subsidiary reporting as part of our new global governance initiative.
They will also manage accurate and timely reporting of our trading P&L within the monthly management accounts (including derivative reporting under IFRS 9). They will support the Senior Finance Manager with improving the efficiency of the Company’s financial reporting process and effectiveness of related internal controls, implementing process automations where possible.
The role will initially be responsible for managing two direct reports.
