Opportunity to join a fast growing automation and controls specialist as their Electrical Design / Controls Engineer to provide technical leadership and expertise to the organisation. Electrical Design / Controls Engineer £50,000 – £55,000 + Car Allowance + Health + Pension Lincolnshire Hybrid working available Ref: 24458 Electrical Design / Controls Engineer – The Role: * Design electrical systems for a range of projects. This includes electrical schematics, cable schedules, BOM’s, control panel layouts and cable management * Working with the senior management team, you will be responsible managing the manufacturing team, and delivering documentation on time to ensure the workshop schedule and site deadlines are met * Utilise electrical design software (EPLAN) to create 2D/3D models, circuit diagrams and any applicable calculations that may be required. * Collaborate with the SMT and project leads as well as other contractors to ensure project scope and timelines are adhered to * Attend site when required to develop URS / FDS * Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure design feasibility and ease of implementation * Troubleshoot design issues and optimise electrical designs for performance, safety, and efficiency * Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and present design concepts * Address client concerns or queries throughout the design and development process * Pro…
