Client Summary: Service and repair of Rolling Stock Doors (Passenger)
Position Summary: We are looking for a number of Team Players to join a small but busy team responsible for the strip and maintenance of Rolling Stock Doors systems. Working a day shift within the heart of the Client's Site, the role will involve install, maintenance and repair systems across a range of train classes.
Person Profile/Experience:
- You will be hands on, competent and confident on the tools and be capable of working to engineering drawings and schematics.
- You will be physically fit and healthy.
- Due to the nature of the work/role, an appreciation of H&S at work is essential, plus in line with Rail Industry Protocols there is a zero policy re being under the influence of Drugs & Alcohol whilst at work. Regular random checks are carried out to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in a mechanical fitting skill set desirable.
- Experience supersedes all IFE Doors Experience.
- Rolling Stock Doors Experience.
