We are supporting a telecommunications client who are searching for an experienced Nokia Radio Designer to join their team and support the delivery of cutting-edge 4G and 5G radio designs. This is a highly technical role requiring a deep understanding of LTE and 5G NR (NSA & SA) technologies and prior hands-on experience with Nokia RAN infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Strategy, Planning, and Regional Operations to translate business needs into high-quality designs, and drive performance improvements across the network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 4G/5G radio design solutions for internal stakeholders.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into high-level designs (HLDs) and low-level designs (LLDs).
  • Collaborate with Planning, Strategy and Regional teams to address network performance issues and provide remedial solutions.
  • Contribute to software drop selection processes by evaluating RAN vendor software against operational and design needs.
  • Produce documentation including KPI definitions and RAN software assessments in line with project requirements.
  • Analyse third-party benchmarking reports to drive network improvements.
  • Identify and address potential improvements in RAN software from a solution perspective.
