As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of your store, leading the team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. You will take full ownership of your business operations and team development, ensuring high standards across all areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and profitability of the store to achieve outstanding results.
  • Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain high visual merchandising standards and store housekeeping.
  • Manage all aspects of Health & Safety compliance.
  • Oversee stock control, stock counts, and store budgets.
  • Motivate and develop the team to meet and exceed objectives.
  • Collaborate with District Managers and HR on people issues.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Manage cash handling, banking, and till procedures according to company standards.
  • Monitor competitor activity and implement strategies to maximize footfall and profitability.
  • Work with the District Manager to develop quarterly strategic plans.
  • Implement loss prevention measures to reduce theft and errors.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and appraisals with team members.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively and promptly.
  • Uphold and promote company values within the team.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Role Parameters

  • Willingness to travel to other store locations if required.
  • Direct reports include Assistant Manager and Team Members.

Budget Management

  • Responsible for the store's budget.

Working Arrangements

  • Work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends.
  • Availability for early mornings and late nights.
  • Flexibility to adjust hours based on workload.
