Software Engineer - React

As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in developing user-friendly, high-performance, and responsive web applications. You will work closely with product managers, backend engineers, and designers to create modern, feature-rich applications that integrate seamlessly with cloud-based services. You will leverage your expertise in React, TypeScript, and AWS to build scalable and maintainable solutions that power financial applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and intuitive web interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Work with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and cloud-based services (AWS).
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Stay up to date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the team.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the platform, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Ensure accessibility, security, and cross-browser compatibility across all platforms and devices.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience 3+ years working with frontend technologies, specifically React and TypeScript, in a professional setting.
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, ES6+, and frontend best practices.
• Familiarity with AWS services (such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) and cloud-based architecture.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Proficiency in version control tools such as Git.
• Strong knowledge of responsive design, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like SASS or Styled Components.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD).
• Familiarity with frontend build tools like Webpack, Babel, and NPM/Yarn.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• A passion for problem-solving, optimization, and writing high-quality, maintainable code.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or React Context.
• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and frameworks like Next.js.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience in the fintech industry or with financial applications is a plus.
