Location: Chandlers Ford
Salary Range: £28,000 - £35,000 Depending on experience
Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hour week

As we move into an exciting phase of growth through 2025 and beyond, we're looking for a Freight Coordinator to join our small, dynamic operations team based at our Chandlers Ford office.
Freight Coordinator Role
As a Freight Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing end-to-end freight forwarding services, with a particular focus on European road freight and courier shipments. You'll play a key part in ensuring our clients' shipments are handled efficiently, safely, and with the highest levels of service.
Freight Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
- Manage freight forwarding operations from start to finish for import/export consignments via multi-modal transport (road, air, and sea).
- Coordinate and monitor courier and European road shipments.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong communication with clients at all levels.
- Prepare and issue freight quotes and rates.
- Produce essential shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading and Letters of Credit.
- Complete customs clearance documentation and procedures accurately.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience within the UK freight or logistics industry (road freight or courier experience preferred).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Experience with hazardous materials is advantageous but not essential - training can be provided.
- A team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
