We have an exciting new opportunity available for a Clinical Director to join us at Masefield Veterinary Centre, Malvern. We are a lovely team of 3 Vets, a PM, 5 nurses and 4 receptionists, surrounded by beautiful countryside. This role will be key in supporting the strategic direction and leadership. Tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Great people and leadership skills to generate high engagement within the team, region and practices
- Excellent communication skills delivering all key messages to the practice
- Working closely with the Regional Director, Operations Management teams, HR, Finance and all other support staff resources
- Business development knowledge, interpreting financial information, data, and KPI Dashboards
- Ability to look for new and additional services and build on overall practice and team development
The candidate we are looking for would need to be currently demonstrating proven experience with the following:
- Creating an environment for exemplary clinical care, and new clinical services
- Establishing a quality improvement framework embraced by the practice
- Oversee a culture of outstanding client service and look to optimise this further
- Consistent financial performance reviews, meeting and exceeding budgets regularly
- Outstanding communication skills leading to exceptional engagement of the team
- Prior Vet GDP advisor knowledge would be preferable, or the willingness to become a GDP advisor
The ideal candidate would be a progressive thinker with the ability to grow and develop the practice in their care to establish long term success. The candidate would need to be able to support the Regional Director in providing:
- Creation of robust budgets and consistent delivery of budget
- Timely management of all issues
- Good leadership skills generating high engagement within the practice
- Good communication skills delivering all key messages across to the practice
- Contribution to the development of the group
The role is full time, we could tailor the rota to be over a 4-day week with approx. 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota commitments with occasional inpatient visits on a Sunday if required. You will be rewarded with a generous benefits package, which will include:
