What we are looking for:
A motivated individual to work in our Goldwood Factory. The role of Machine Operative consists of peeling, trimming, bagging and packing onions and running the machine as and when required.
The Position
- Hands-on Machine Operative in Process/Peeling areas of the factory
- Adhere to our quality and hygiene standards
- Carry out and record start up checks
- Complete paperwork as required on production control
- Ensure product produced is to customer specification and legal requirements for that area
- Ensure machines run efficiently and orders are produced on time to the correct customer specifications
- Ensure all machinery, work surfaces, and equipment are kept clean in accordance with company cleaning schedules and procedures
- Undertake any other duties as requested by your manager to meet the needs of the business
