We are working with a well-established and respected service provider in the commercial refrigeration sector, known for their reliability and technical expertise. With over 25 years in the industry, they support a diverse range of clients across retail, healthcare, education, and more.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their field team.
The Role
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems such as cold rooms, chillers, freezers, and display units
- Carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
- Working independently in the field while delivering a high level of customer service
- Covering a varied customer base across the Glasgow region
What We Are Looking For
- Experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment
- F-Gas Certification (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Confident in diagnostics and fault finding
The Package
- £42000 basic salary
- Door-to-door travel paid
- 40-hour working week
- Overtime paid at 1.5x (Mon-Sat) and 2x (Sundays/Bank Holidays)
- On-call rota: 1 in 5 / 6 (worst case) with £175 standby allowance
- 33 days holiday (25 days + 8 Bank Holidays)
