London Southbank University is excited to be recruiting for the position of Research Development Manager within their highly skilled Research, Enterprise and Innovation (REI) department. The REI team collaborates with academics to leverage opportunities, funding, and industry connections to advance LSBU’s research and enterprise ambitions. Its partnerships focus on addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges, delivering tangible real-world outcomes and solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the coordination and development of large, interdisciplinary research proposals, working across Schools and supporting Principal Investigators. The postholder will provide guidance on UK and international research funding landscapes, identify major funding opportunities aligned with the university’s research themes, and build strong relationships with external funding bodies and stakeholders.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be degree-educated, preferably with a PhD, highly motivated, and possess a thorough understanding of the UK and international research funding landscape, policies, and processes. Experience with Open Data, Research Integrity, and Ethics is highly desirable.
