Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for a skilled QA with a proven track record in test automation to join one of the world’s most prestigious hedge funds.

You will draw on your financial services experience to plan, document and execute tests against core components of the algorithmic trading & execution systems. You will join a global team that faces off to Portfolio Managers and Quants from Fixed Income and Commodities trading pods. Your work will be a mix of developing automated test cases, enhancing current testing frameworks and harnesses, as well as working with developers to ensure best practices for building testable systems.

The successful QA Engineer will enjoy facing off to the business, and have outstanding communication skills across all levels of technical understanding.

Skills and Experience Required

• At least 5 years’ QA experience within financial services technology
• Skilled in one or more programming languages (Java preferred) with experience writing and maintaining automated tests
• Demonstrable ability of developing and using test frameworks/harnesses, and tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, or HP UFT/QTP
• Familiarity with scripting languages & knowledge of Unix/Linux OS
• Bachelor’s (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, from a top-tier university
• Experience with messaging infrastructure (e.g. Solace, Aeron, etc.)
• Experience with electronic trading or trade booking & processing systems, as well as working knowledge of Fixed Income & Commodities financial instruments and markets
