Position Details

Salary: £25,600 to £28,444 (dependent on experience) pro rata, per annum + £3,500 London weighting if applicable

Hours/Contract: 35 hours per week, Full time, 1-year fixed term contract

Based: London/home-based (with some travel within UK required)

Interview date: w/c 2nd September

Role Overview

The Public Affairs Officer will work closely with the National Public Affairs Manager and Local Public Affairs Manager to develop relationships with Parliamentarians, civil servants, and stakeholders in devolved contexts, working with them to improve the end of life experience for everyone across the UK.

Candidate Requirements

  • Solid experience working within the Public Affairs environment, ideally within Parliament
  • A passion and understanding of the challenging inequalities in care and end of life experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and engage
  • Excellent organisational skills for workload and event planning
