Family Solicitor (private and legal aid)

Are you an experienced Family Solicitor looking for an exciting opportunity to join a well-established high street law firm? Due to succession planning, this firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Lawyer (either Solicitor or Legal Executive) with 5+ years PQE to join them in Crawley, West Sussex.

The Firm:

• The firm has a long-standing reputation for providing exceptional legal services to their clients in Crawley and surrounding areas. They are committed to delivering high-quality advice and support, building strong relationships within the community and beyond.

About The Role:

• As a Senior Family Solicitor, you\’ll take over an existing caseload covering both privately funded and legal aid cases. Your responsibilities include handling divorce, financial settlements, and children matters (with an emphasis on financial remedy). You will provide expert legal advice and representation to clients.
• You will conduct your own advocacy; previous advocacy experience is highly desirable.

Requirements:

• Experienced Family Solicitor or Legal Executive with 5+ years PQE.
• Experience handling both privately funded and legal aid matters.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Family Panel Membership is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to ethical standards and exceptional client service.
