The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.

The requirements of the role will be varied due to the dynamic range of projects undertaken. Some of the more typical day to day aspects of the role would include assembly and test of integrated mechanical, electrical and electronic systems, building electronic system assemblies, calibrating, commissioning, and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assembly and commissioning of electromechanical products with an emphasis on the electrical and electronic aspects.
  • Testing and quality control.
  • Documentation of assembles and QC.
  • Assembly of cables.
  • Configuration of electronic hardware and modules.

Essential Prerequisites

  • Relevant HNC or equivalent or a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.
  • Competent at soldering wires and electronic components.
  • Working with single, three phase and low voltage systems.
  • Good logical fault finding skills.
  • Safe use of handheld and power tools.
  • Able to read electrical and electronic schematics.
  • Detail focused individual.
  • Ability to confidently work individually and within a team.
  • Desire to learn and continually improve your knowledge.
  • IT skills including use of Microsoft office products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.

Preferred Prerequisites

  • Electrical and electronic software experience: Solid-works, ACAD, Visual Studio, Can / ADUINO.
  • Industrial Servo experience.
  • Experience in panel building.
  • Experience in microcontroller programming.
  • 18th edition wiring regulations.
  • Experience with serial devices.
  • Valid passport.
  • Full UK driving licence.
