The Sales Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all sales operations processes, including tracking and reconciling retailer bonuses. The role involves coordinating with third-party providers, such as registration authorities, to ensure system updates are efficiently launched with minimal impact on daily operations. The ultimate goal is to streamline sales processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the achievement of the company’s global sales objectives.
Key Duties- Support management of the Demo Programme by providing regular reporting and analysis to ensure the correct vehicle mix, volume of demonstrators, and high customer satisfaction during test drives.
- Ensure internal fleet and prototype units are registered and insured promptly and accurately.
- Liaise with local authorities to ensure vehicle registration systems operate efficiently and system updates are planned and executed on time.
- Manage sales operations performance, including invoicing retail partners, handling customer contracts, payment requests, and relevant documentation.
- Maintain master data quality in SAP for the sales team (e.g., updating sales margins/bonuses).
- Assist in producing and distributing bulletins and communications to the retailer network for the global sales team.
- Document Sales Operations processes for use by Regional Sales teams and the wider organization.
- Ensure vehicle configurations in the order bank are up-to-date and maintained according to the latest feature list specifications, including mass-updates of existing orders.
- Reconcile and process payments of sales margins, commissions, and bonuses to the retailer network.
- Experience in the automotive industry/OEM is essential.
- Previous experience in a Sales Operations role is preferred.
- Good understanding of retail, wholesale, and production planning.
- Knowledge of global markets.
- Experience with SAP systems is desirable.
