We are seeking a skilled and passionate Building Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join our dynamic team. As a Building Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in our organisation, contributing to various projects. Responsibilities:
You will assess Building Control and warranty applications for residential and mixed-use schemes, negotiate with developers and builders, coordinate inspections, and support our team with expert advice and reviews.
Key Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Building Regulations, building technology, and technical training
- Experience with structural defects, engineering, NHBC Standards, and site inspection
- Relevant building/construction experience in housing and commercial sectors
- Understanding of building pathology
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive and self-motivated approach
- Experience in Building Control
- Full Driving Licence
Qualifications:
- Working towards or holding chartered membership of an appropriate professional institution (e.g., MCIOB, CABE)
- Construction-related qualifications such as City and Guilds, HNC, HND, or NVQ (or equivalent)
