Are you looking for a new exciting role as a HR Officer based in Coventry? Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting a growing business as they look to recruit a permanent HR Officer to support their industrial site.

£30-£35,000 Full time and Permanent. Please note that this is a fully onsite role Monday - Friday 0800-1700 with an expectancy to cover hours required to meet the business commitments.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in HR meetings and contribute ideas.
  • Participate and manage the implementation of HR initiatives to meet the goals of the organisation.
  • Assist in employee relation matters escalating complex issues to management.
  • Assist in a range of activities and provide necessary support to the wider HR team.
  • Oversee performance appraisals, supporting managers in employee development.
  • Identify training and development needs of the whole workforce to address specific training needs.
  • Work collaboratively with payroll to help with the resolution of payroll related queries.
  • Generate HR data, metrics and data to produce reports.
  • Assist with recruitment, posting jobs, reviewing applications and scheduling interviews.

About you - HR Officer:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years previous experience working in a HR department as a HR Officer.
  • Qualified to CIPD Level or relevant qualification.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Be computer literate.
