Chef needed in Swansea- Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Location: Quay House Hostel, Strand, Swansea SA1 2AW
Pay Rate: 14.50 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (12-week probation via Contract Options)

Schedule:
Fridays to Tuesdays (5 days/week)
Candidates can choose between two shift options:

• 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• 12:30 PM to 6:30 PM

About the Role:
Contract Options is currently recruiting for a dedicated and reliable chef to work at Quay House Hostel in Swansea. This is a unique opportunity to transition into a permanent role after a 12-week probationary period. During this time, you will be registered with Contract Options. If the client is satisfied with performance, a permanent contract will be offered.

This role is based in a probation centre, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable working around individuals who have previously been in custody.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience as a chef or cook in a similar environment
• Valid Basic DBS certificate (required)
• Must be local to the area or have a full UK driving licence
• Comfortable working in a probationary setting
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
