TRR is recruiting for a Compliance Manager role which consists of managing a small team. This is an opportunity to join a top 100 firm with a great reputation and at a really exciting time, with multiple new people strategy initiatives. This is a good opportunity for a Senior Analyst level candidate with some people mentoring/leadership experience to step up into a manager role or for an existing Compliance Manager looking to work within a firm that has a fantastic culture and appetite for good compliance.

Working arrangements - Bournemouth (Hybrid 1-2 DPW), Southampton or London (with 1-2 DPW in Bournemouth).

The Role:

  • Lead a small compliance team (5/6) to ensure exceptional standards of regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure policies, key documents, and risk registers are up to date in line with the latest regulations.
  • Oversee the Lexcel and CQS accreditations.
  • Monitor and identify regulatory changes, implementing necessary updates and carrying out any training.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, driving initiatives to enhance processes and compliance frameworks.

Key Skills / Experience Required:

  • Strong experience in compliance management within a law firm/legal services environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory frameworks around legal compliance.
  • Experience across most areas of compliance - AML, Conflicts, PEPs, Sanctions, CDD etc.
  • Good leadership/mentoring/tutoring skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and written.
