We are looking for a Lead Editorial Program Manager to join our team in London, someone who can combine a passion for research integrity and responsible research assessment with exceptional organisational and communication skills. The successful applicant will ensure our recognition programmes, live events and thought leadership activities are successfully delivered across the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), Research Professional News and Web of Science Editorial Selection. These three teams are at the forefront of Clarivate’s efforts to create responsible metrics, support responsible research assessment, build relationships of trust with research institutions, funding bodies and scholarly publishers and protect the integrity of the scholarly record. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 10 years’ experience in an academic, research or scholarly publishing setting
- Proven organisational skills and ability to orchestrate cross-team efforts to deliver to tight deadlines
- Excellent English language verbal and written skills to effectively and accurately communicate complex information and data in an accessible manner internally and externally
- Proven experience in external-facing situations that require the requisite diplomacy, discretion, and professionalism

What will you be doing in this role?
- Oversee the delivery of the editorial component of our annual ISI recognition programmes – Highly Cited Researchers and Citation Laureates – and coordinate the creation of supporting collateral for internal and external use
- Manage the output of ISI data and insight-driven content in the shape of blogs, reports, white papers and scholarly articles
- Provide organisational support for in-person and virtual Research Professional News events
- Provide operational support for the Editorial Leadership team
- Facilitate collaboration with external partners, to build and maintain appropriate relationships and deliver deeper engagement with research institutions, funding bodies, and scholarly publishers.
About the Team:
You will be part of the UK-based Research & Analytics Editorial Leadership Team and reporting to the SVP & Editor-in-Chief, Web of Science. You will be part of the Research & Analytics Editorial Division alongside ~60 colleagues from the Institute for Scientific Information, Research Professional News and WoS Editorial Selection teams based across the UK, US, Spain, Serbia and India. You will also be collaborating closely with the communications, marketing and brand teams.
Hours of work
This is a permanent full-time position. The position is hybrid going to our central office in London 2-3 times per week.
