Grounds Maintenance Operative – Cullompton Our client requires Grounds Maintenance Operatives around Cullompton to carry out tasks such as strimming, hard and soft landscaping. Working in teams, you will be responsible for a range of activities from grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, and much more What we are looking for: * Experience within the grounds maintenance industry (preferred) * Capable of working safely using various equipment and hand tools (e.g. strimmers, backpack blowers, push mowers etc.) * Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions * Good time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment * Enthusiasm, good communication skills * Good understanding of health and safety * Ideally, have a full, clean driving license * Will understand the importance of working as a team * Reliable and conscientious with a can-do attitude * A willingness to learn * Ability to work on one’s initiative * CSCS card is essential Hours of work: Monday – Friday, but some weekend overtime will be available, paid at premium rates.
