Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Digital Marketing/Advertising Manager with a passion for football and a deep understanding of retail audiences. Our client is a high profile European football club, playing at the highest level, with an interesting history and amazing story for you to build on.
You’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid social campaigns across platforms like Meta, TikTok, X, and YouTube, engaging a diverse fan base and driving online and in-store sales. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and optimize paid social campaigns aligned with commercial and brand goals.
- Build and segment custom audiences based on fan behaviour and retail performance.
- Create campaign briefs and collaborate with creative teams to produce engaging content.
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies in real time to maximize ROI.
- Use analytics tools to report on KPIs, insights, and attribution.
- Stay up to date with platform updates, social trends, and fan engagement tactics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with e-commerce, merchandising, and club/community teams.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience managing paid social campaigns, preferably with a leading football/sports brand.
- Proven track record of driving results through Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and similar platforms.
- Strong understanding and passion for football culture and its digital audience.
- Data-driven with experience using industry leading tools.
- Excellent copywriting and content evaluation skills.
- Passion for sport, retail, and social media innovation.
