Responsibilities:
- Server Management:
- Perform server maintenance tasks including drive replacement and powering on servers.
- Assist with server migration and site closure as needed.
- Monitor and manage server room access.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Move network cables as required.
- Monitor the A/C unit in the server room.
- Manage network configurations and monitor system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
- Power on workstations for remote users as required.
- Assist users with basic IT issues during morning UK hours.
- Process e-waste and ship gear back to the Plymouth depot.
- Be on-call on-site in case of power outages.
- Provide on-site presence in the mornings following patch deployments.
- Reset power strips as needed.

- Document IT processes, systems, and configurations for future reference.
