As a geo-data company, Fugro has complex workflows from sample and data acquisition through to data processing and delivery of various reporting services to customers. We are looking for a candidate who will join us in the crucial role of Regional Head of Geotechnical Laboratories to assist and enable Fugro’s geotechnical laboratories to maximise their full potential.
Further aspects of this newly created position will include:
- You will play a critical role in meeting the group's goals and quality, productivity and employee satisfaction targets by being accountable for the team results.
- You will also have an important impact on extensive engineering/geo-science activities.
Who we’re seeking:
The ideal candidate will have experience of business transformation and strategy as well as strong operational management experience (ideally in geotechnical laboratory processes). An academic background related to Earth Science is preferable but equivalent experience in other areas may be considered. You will be comfortable managing a wide variety of stakeholders from large, complex operational teams through to senior business managers. This role is centred around strong collaboration and you will utilise prior experience in change management to ensure new initiatives are rolled out to the business effectively.
The successful candidate should have prior experience of the geotechnical laboratory workflow which they will utilise to ensure digitalisation initiatives are developed in accordance with Fugro’s Global strategy to build consistency within Fugro’s global geotechnical laboratory offering. The successful candidate should also have prior experience of business assessments, objective review and future planning in terms of expenditure, personnel and equipment requirements.
