Occasional need for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays depending on workload, would be overtime (maybe once a month, closer to June time when deadlines are in place)
Looking for around 3-5 years experience.
- ERP system experience
- Assembly process background
- Experience with pinpoint / manufacturing execution systems
- Process definition, being able to write processes
- Time balancing skills
- Tooling and fixturing skills
- IOSH Managing Safety certification
- Driven personality, wanting to take action quickly
Role Definition
Provides support and guidance on all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing.
Responsibilities
• Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.
• Monitoring equipment and process reliability; identifying and addressing problem areas.
• Analyzing engineering change notices, determines any part or process change, initiates and implements all changes.
• Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.

• Performs basic care and safety considerations for a specific type of manufacturing equipment.
• Participates in setting up new machines and testing according to manufacturer\’s specifications.

Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.

• Performs safety inspections to assure compliance with OSHA requirements.
