Director of Account Based Marketing (ABM)

We are expanding our global Growth Marketing team at Smartly and are looking for a passionate marketing professional to join us!
As the Director of Account Based Marketing , you will lead ABM efforts to identify market growth opportunities, with high visibility across corporate leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a world-class program covering North America and Europe. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Event Marketing, Paid Media, and SDRs to build scalable programs, leveraging your expertise to set best practices in account-based approaches.
Responsibilities include:
- Design scalable ABM programs by partnering with Sales leadership and VP of Growth Marketing to identify focus areas that drive revenue.
- Develop programs around ABM 1:1, 1:Few, and 1:Many, creating targeted, region-specific, integrated campaigns for key accounts in collaboration with sales and product marketing.
- Own and optimize the use of 6Sense for broad adoption across Sales and Marketing to identify and engage target accounts.
- Partner with SDRs to translate growth marketing campaigns into account outreach strategies, including content development.
- Innovate in engaging target accounts with creative strategies that stand out in the market.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance content creation and website optimization.
- Collaborate with content marketing to inform content strategies, develop campaign-specific messaging, and align demand generation efforts.
- Oversee the development of campaign materials such as landing pages, direct mailers, and custom gifting to maximize impact.
- Deliver comprehensive reporting and analytics to demonstrate ABM impact on revenue, define metrics, develop dashboards, and perform ad-hoc analyses.
- Manage budgets, explore new tools, and build a best-in-class ABM practice.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience in tech, preferably SaaS, with at least 3 years of proven ABM campaign leadership.
- Experience with tools like 6Sense, Demandbase, or Terminus.
- Understanding of multiple buyer personas, including senior decision-makers, with tailored messaging and collateral development.
- Strong analytical skills to derive insights and apply data-driven metrics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
- Experience with multi-touch campaigns, including offline and online nurture programs and paid acquisition strategies.
