We are seeking a Security Architect. Candidates must currently hold MOD SC clearance and be able to travel to our Erskine or Newcastle sites regularly.
Role:
- Provide security architecture frameworks and guidance during design and implementation, reviewing updates and supporting incident investigations in line with the client’s architectural framework.
- Architect solutions and lead their implementation according to the agreed framework.
- Collaborate with the customer’s architecture team to develop solutions.
- Lead security projects, ensuring security requirements are met and integrated within the architectural framework.
- Support and advise team members on architectural and technical issues, sharing knowledge and experience.
- Maintain knowledge of DXC’s Security Products and promote their use.
- Continuously update knowledge of security controls and technologies.
- Provide consultancy skills and proactively build customer trust.
- Mentor team members to develop their skills and capabilities.
Experience:
- Extensive Enterprise/Cloud Security Architecture experience, with at least 10 years in Enterprise and 5 years in Cloud environments.
- Experience working with MoD and HMG clients to capture requirements and formulate solutions.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, including Agile methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience developing and implementing Enterprise Security Strategies.
- Proficiency in security architectural frameworks like TOGAF.
- Knowledge of standards and legislation such as PCI DSS, COBIT, SOX, DPA, HMG SPF, JSP 440, CESG IA Portfolio, ISO27001, NIST Cyber Security Framework.
- Experience designing and operationalizing security solutions in multi-supplier/multi-platform environments.
- Understanding threat and risk analysis methodologies.
- Experience with cloud security requirements and solutions.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a team environment.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and well-organized.
- Customer-focused with good expectation management skills.
