The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

The role will assist the end-to-end delivery and performance of the company's Wide and Local Area Network from its delivery partners and individual networks across the company's estate.

The role delivers ongoing operational business requirements in the following areas:

  • Day to day operational performance of the network to agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Changes to the network to meet ongoing business demands.
  • Delivering continuous service improvement.
  • Emergency response to critical incidents.

Skills and experiences required:

  • Strong experience in Cisco Meraki including configuration, deployment and installation.
  • Experience with Firewalls - Fortinet.
  • Proven technical experience supporting LAN, WAN and WLAN.
  • Experience of running network security.
  • Experience in managing a cellular Wireless WAN.
  • Experience supporting networks for a large multi-site organisation.
  • Experience in Cisco and Cisco Meraki based hardware and solutions.
  • Experience of working with third party providers of network services.
  • Technical experience of Kemp load balancers.
  • Technical knowledge of network systems and associated hardware including Switches, Routers, Firewalls.
  • Technical knowledge of both an on premise and cloud Windows environment.

Qualifications:

  • CCNA
  • CCNP (desirable)
